About: Hardware

V-1I only use Apple computers. Since I first started using them - an Mac SE30, way back in 1823, I've never had a single hardware failure, or lost any work because of a hardware or software failure. Currently I have a 2008 8-core Mac Pro, which is built like a battleship, and is utterly expandable, and has run 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, since it was first turned on, and has never so much as blinked.

This replaced a G4 Powerbook, which replaced an iMac, which replaced... you get the idea!

If you want to be productive more of the time, and not have to be your own IT help desk, get an Apple computer. Really, they just... work! Go to www.apple.com for more info, or click on the images below.

Wacom Intuos4 m Graphics Tablet

Apart from the madly expensive Cintiq tablets, these are the best you can get. 2048 levels of pressure, just about everything customisable or user-definable, left or right handed... it's got just about everything. For retouching and painting, it's essential - though if you're used to using a mouse for everything, it can take some getting used to.
