TSR2
The British Aircraft Corporation TSR2 if it had been built, would still be in service today, so great was the initial concept and design. Only 2 examples remain, one at RAF Cosford and one at the RAF museum in Duxford.
The history of the development, production and cancellation can be found at Damien Burkes excellent "Thunder and Lightnings" site.
Some of my TSR2 images can be found in Chris Gibsons' excellent book, Vulcan's Hammer: V-force Aircraft & Weapons Projects Since 1945 (Consign).
